Pastor at St. John's UMC and St. Peter's UMC while attending Asbury Seminary

From 1986 to 1996 I was pastor first at St. John's UMC, then a joint charge with St. Peter's UMC. While at St. John's they celebrated their 150th anniversary; so I rode a horse two miles to the church, just like a circuit riding preacher.
